Quality Manager

A rapidly growing and expanding full-service stamping company recognized world-wide as a leading manufacturer of deep drawn, progressive, and fine blanked stampings is seeking a Quality Manager.

Major Function:

This position is responsible to lead, design, implement and continually improve the quality management system in conformance with IATF 16949, customer specific requirements and the attainment of world-class quality standards; lead, design and develop long range quality plans, strategies and tactics; and support the company’s new product introduction process.

Major Responsibilities:

The Quality Manager’s responsibilities fall within four primary categories encompassing quality systems, inspection, analysis, and corrective action. Collectively, these assure compliance to customer requirements and drive continuous improvement.

The Quality Manager directs the activities of the Quality Department, ensuring that the appropriate skills, equipment, and training are in place to support company quality initiatives and objectives.

Directly responsible for coaching, mentoring, teaching, training, motivating and guiding associates involved in the department processes.

Review and verify team member training levels and competence for required work. Review training levels and competencies for required work with team members and develop training plans to address any deficiencies and review progress towards training and development goals.

Design, develop, implement, communicate and coordinate compliance to inspection programs administered by Quality department personnel or production operators.

Develop and implement final audit of production parts prior to shipment to customers to assure complete compliance with dimensional, packaging, appearance and documentation requirements.

Oversee product performance and endurance testing, analysis, and evaluation studies in accordance with customer specifications including first piece and ISIR dimensional layouts and studies.


The successful candidate will be degreed in Quality, Engineering or related field, have at least five (5) years’ experience in Quality Engineering, preferably in the automotive industry, and have demonstrated success in a leadership position.
