Early R&D Development Project Manager (non-GMP)

Job Description

This project manager role (not an IT related role) is a newly created role due to this well-funded, and publicly traded biotech's growth and would assist in the coordination of all project activities from pre-clinical R&D through to early phase (Phase I clinical trials). Best fit would be someone with a scientific background with 5+ years of biologics industry experience (cell culture, gene therapy, cell therapy or closely related) with at least 4 years of hands-on project management experience with early phase development.

A must-have is for someone who has had some direct experience as a project manager (budgets/timelines).

Qualifications:

LOCAL candidates only at this time.

BS/MS/Ph.D.

5+ years of biologics industry experience (including pre-clinical development) experience (gene therapy, cell therapy, cell culture, etc)

Previous project management experience - budgets/timelines/working with external CROs a plus

Previous drug development experience

PMP certification a plus, but not a must have.

Excellent communication skills
